Thanks for this posting. My wife and I are homeschooling our five great-grandchildren, ages 6 through 14, with a set of 7 year old twin boys in the mix. Their mom is a critical worker, and our daughter is married to a medically fragile man.
We give an hour or two each day to math, language, and worksheets. Then, campfire building with flint and steel, digging a compost hole, raking leaves, and outdoor play. This is Wisconsin and the weather doesn’t always cooperate. Life experiences for the gang.
