I’m good to go, and with a few new life lessons for my moral betterment. But the whole incident made me a coward — I refuse to take any pill for any of the multiple ailments I encounter — no pain meds, even aspirin. If I can’t handle it with more natural means, it’s time to climb aboard my old cayuse and ride into the sunset. I do rely on acupuncture and Qi Gong a lot.
